God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground.” (Genesis 1:28, NIV)
According to Genesis 1, God created the heavens and the earth first. Then He made light and darkness, the sky, the ground and sea, the vegetation and trees, the sun and moon, many stars in the sky, the seasons of the earth, and the birds and fish. God created all those things for five days. On the sixth day, He made the animals on the ground and finally created man in His own image.
When the man opened his eyes, there was a world before him. He saw a lot of beautiful plants and trees on the ground, a variety of fish swimming in the sea, and birds flying high in the sky. At night, he watched the beautiful moon and stars illuminating the ground. In the beginning, there was nothing he made. There only existed the things the Creator God made. Then, the vast and magnificent simulation had been formed in the world and operated by the wisdom of God. The Lord had already finished all the calculations of how people should live in the world when He created all things.
The calculation may include how the of men and all the animals should be formed and operated, what men eat, what nutrients should fill each fruit and vegetable, how people get those fruits and vegetables, how plants bear each fruit, how living creatures avoid the hot sunshine, where people rest and sleep, how they build their houses, how things are illuminated at night, how men make a fire, what energies men use to keep the fire burning, how people are able to hunt quick or strong animals, how people go to sea, as the number of people increases, what they eat, what they wear, where they sleep, and so on.
With His wisdom, the Almighty God had already finished His magnificent calculation of how to operate all those complicated and immeasurable cases in all spaces as time goes by.
Then, God created a man and blessed him and commanded to be fruitful and increase in number. He has given humans the authority to fill and subdue the earth that He created.
